Description:
Seeking experienced, mature person for a ranch manager position at Janssen Performance Horses & Cattle. This is not an entry level position. Successful candidates will have extreme attention to detail, work well with others, be an effective leader of people and process, be experienced in animal husbandry (preferably beef cattle and horses), have the ability to operate, maintain and repair farm equipment and facilities, operate power tools including chain saws, etc.



Responsible for managing the day to day operations of a working cutting horse training/breeding and cattle backgrounding ranch. Will report directly to the owner who is actively involved in the business. Duties include ensuring livestock are fed and healthy, overseeing stall cleaning and barn cleanliness, keeping the ranch looking park-like at all times, maintaining equipment, willingness to do anything associated with ranch operations.



This is mostly a weekday position, although as with most things agriculture related the right candidate needs to be flexible. Located near Rush City MN. Housing not available. This is not a riding position.
