Gunner posses all of the great qualities that have made the draft crosses so popular. He is gentle and kind natured, easily trainable and always willing to please. He is a coming 5 year old 15.2 hand Percheron Quarter Horse Cross Gelding. His stunning looks and charming personality will get you noticed everywhere you go! We have rode this big guy both in and out of the arena and he always gives you his best. He has been ridden Western and English and rides around soft on a loose rein, direct reins, follows a feel and responds easily to hand and leg cues. He walks out nicely with a comfortable, easy to sit jog and will lope around on the correct lead. Gunner is making a great trail horse and will carefully pick his way through deadfall, crosses water and balances himself well on steep terrain. We have also started him through the obstacle course and he has taken to it like a pro! He is a gentleman to be around with excellent ground manners, is easy to catch, stands quiet while tied and is good for the farrier. 100% Gentle and sound with no vices or silly business.
