Description:
We are a family farm/ranch and registered seedstock operation located in Northern Colorado seeking an experienced, honest, and dependable TMR feed wagon operator to join our crew. From about October – June your main task will be feeding cattle daily. During the months where the cows are out on pasture, you will be assisting with farming and checking cattle daily/weekly at the various pastures.



Salaried position, pay is dependent on experience.

Benefits include:

• Housing, including paid utilities

• Paid vacation, after probationary time

• ½ beef each year

• Ranch vehicle provided



Responsibilities include:

• Loading rations into feed wagon with a loader

• Feeding multiple pens

• Identify sick cattle and calving cows while feeding

• Tractor and feed wagon maintenance – fueling, greasing, sharpening/replacing feed wagon blades

• Periodic general cattle work

• Farming in the summer (hay, corn, wheat)

• Checking cattle out on pasture



Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in the above listed responsibilities

• Capable of doing simple math to build a feed ration

• Valid driver’s license and CLEAN driving record a must

• DRUG FREE – including marijuana

• Good communicator

• Dependable

• Detail-oriented

• Honest

• Self-motivated

• CDL preferred, but not required (opportunities to drive semi loads of cattle to mountain pastures if you have a CDL)
