Bred by the famous Matador ranch in Texas and carries their brands. This is a sure nuff top end, high caliber ranch gelding that has and can do it all on the ranch. He is very broke in the bridle, big stopping, very cowy, quick footed and catty on a cow especially for a big horse and is as nice a horse to rope on as you’ll find. He is gentle and stays gentle even with being thrown out in the pasture for weeks. Crow has been in my string for the past year plus and because of us moving this summer from NM to Texas I know he can be caught out of the pasture fresh, cinch up and go rope or do anything asked of him without a hump or question. He had been started in the arena roping, hauled and won on at several double mugging and ranch rodeos by a very good hand, when we bought him. Crow is a superior horse outside and will get through the thickest of brush, rocks, cactus and the steepest terrain you can ride in, and rope anything in that same country. Tended lots of cattle in big country, Texas and NM. Double tough nice young gelding that has seen and done as much as most old ones, but will last you for many years.
