Description:
Nala is one of the prettiest haflinger mares you’ll find for sale anywhere. She is stout with heavy bone and a good foot and can carry a grown person with ease. She is extremely gentle, safe, kind and has that awesome haffie disposition and is quiet enough to put your kids or your grandma on. She is really broke and is soft in the face, carries her head low, neck reins, turns around and stops great. She goes on a loose rein and jogs around super slow and cute and will lope off. She is super easy to ride and a joy every time you step on her. You can ride her bareback or put the babies on with you and go ride around anywhere. She’s great to use on the ranch for all tasks needed including gathering, penning, driving cattle up the allies, loading trucks and ponying colts. She’s perfect to go prowl pastures looking for strays or to check fence lines. She’s a great kids ranch pony.

We’ve started tracking and roping the sled on her. She’ll track right in behind one and shows a lot of interest. The kids rope the dummy off her for hours at a time. She could make a really cool rope horse finished out if you choose to do so. You can also pull the dummy around on her.

She’s really fun to take on trail rides and will go anywhere through brush, across water, up and down steep hills, over logs and bridges and down the road. She’s been ridden around traffic, dogs, bicycles, strollers, tractors, ATV’s and motorcycles. She’ll ride out alone just as good as she will with a group.

Nala is also a very good driving pony. She drives single and we’ve never tried her double. She has pulled a feed wagon, a cart and a small wagon. She’s been driven on trail rides and in parades. She’s not bothered by traffic or crowds.

If you want a fancy out of the ordinary large pony that is broke to death, super safe, gorgeous and has athletic ability then here she is. Nala has absolutely no bad habits or vices. She stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls with ease. We’ve had her over 3 years and want her to go to a great home.
