Nova is smart, athletic, and very willing. She has Gray’s Starlight and I’ll Be Smart (full brother to Smart Little Lena) on her papers, and she definitely shows an affinity for reining. She would be an excellent reiner or reined cow horse. Nova was started with the Clinton Anderson colt starting method. She knows everything from the fundamentals, intermediate, and some of the advanced series. She has incredible groundwork, lots of desensitizing, and can even bow and lay down. She has been on trails all over Utah. She will cross bridges, water, logs, and pavement. She has also pushed cows at the ranch and has worked the cutting flag a few times. This horse has an incredible and thorough foundation. She is very soft and has great neck, hip, shoulder, and rib cage control under saddle. She learns really quickly and is highly teachable. She can also turn off her sensitivity and give a ride to a kid! I’ve had my 3 year old nephew and beginning riders on her several times. You can take this horse any direction you want to go!
