Mikey is one cool dude! He’s gorgeous, flashy, broke to death and definitely gentle. He’ll make a great horse for anyone in your family. He’s extremely broke and is very soft in the face, carries his head level, neck reins, turns around, moves off your leg, two tracks, picks up his leads, lopes pretty circles and has a good stop. You can ride him bareback, double or even backwards and he doesn’t care. You can carry a flag on him and could make him a drill team horse easily.

He’s a super cool ranch horse you can count on for any task you need to do. He’s proficient at gathering, moving, penning, sorting pairs, roping, doctoring, dragging calves, loading truck and ponying colts. You can go off alone on him to scout for strays or check fences. You can gather and rope wild horses on him.

He would be cool to ranch rodeo on. He’s been hauled to different arenas to ride around at jackpots to learn the sights and sounds and he’s always good in new places. You can take him to the local sorting for a night of fun.

Mikey rides comfortably and quiet in the arena at home. He’s started tracking and roping the dummy and live steers. He’s showing great promise to finish out as a top notch rope horse. He definitely has the athletic ability, speed and is cowey enough to do so. If you chose to train him on the barrels we feel like he would excel there too. He has enough body control that he would probably be awesome at cowboy dressage. Another thing you could use him for is drill team because he already will carry a flag. He’s truly one of those horses you could do about anything on.

However if performance is not your cup of tea and you just need a beautiful horse to go trail riding on don’t worry because Mikey is very content cruising down the trails. He will ride through the brush, across water, up and down hills, over logs and bridges and even down the road. He’s been ridden around traffic, bicycles, ATVs, motorcycles, tractors and even baby carriages and it’s not phased by any of it.
