They are in the older tier of the herd with some of the best producing cows in this group. The ranch is just looking to keep the younger cows around in face of the current drought. Selling the older part of a ~140 head cow herd. Located 32 miles North of Billings, MT Angus Limmousin Cross: 90% Black/BWF, 10% Red; 4 Head Reds can be taken off at the buyer’s option. Vaccinations: Scour Bos Annual, Bovi-Shield FP, Long Range Wormer. Obviously if there are a few more opens than expected the head count will be lower. Any lames, lumps or poorly functioning cows will be sorted off. 5 head of cows are full red but exact same breeding as the rest of the group. If you can’t take the reds please inquire with us and we can take them off. This will be a sweet set of cows. They are gentle enough for anyone to handle and tag calves but are also used to being worked horseback and will walk out when asked to do so. The best traits of these cattle are great disposition, can be handled with little to no help, calves are tagged every year so cows tolerate interaction well.
