Benz is solid gold in and out of the arena. Don’t let his stunning show horse looks fool you, Benz willingly works until the day’s job is done.



Raised on a large rugged cattle ranch, Benz is exceptionally experienced outside working for a living as a ranch horse. His smooth ground covering gaits make him any cowboy’s top pick for the day’s ride. He’s been used to gather, sort and rope cattle his entire life. Water, challenging terrain, gunfire; he’s seen it all.



Benz is always a gentleman; in groups, with hounds, out alone, it’s all the same to this handsome guy. His lifetime of ranch experience makes him an ideal choice to ride out foxhunting. We’ve started him over fences, he has beautiful form and tons of scope. He’s willing and brave to take on new things.



Responsive to his rider, Benz has very smooth gaits. He’s well broke and will lope correct pretty circles both directions. He’s got a nice big walk that covers country. Benz moves off your leg very well and sidepasses willingly to open or close gates. He rides western or English with equal flare, he has a fantastic attitude and quickly picks up new skills. We’ve ridden him without a bridle, he’s always eager to please.



Always friendly, Benz will happily meet you at the gate for the days adventures. He’s a gentleman on the ground and loves attention. Easy to bathe, clip, shoe, haul. Benz will stand tied quietly without fuss. Not a high maintenance kind of horse, he stays gentle after time off.
