He’s out of a super cool South Dakota foundation bred mare. Smashingly Snazzy AKA “Yankee” This young gelding checks ALL the boxes! -Pedigree -Shape -Size (15/15.1 hands) -Color -110% Sound He got a late start due to the typical: “life happened”. He currently has 30days+ with a really competent colt starter. He is CURRENTLY being used outside to gather, sort and daywork. Yankee has all the ability in the world, steps around, follows his face, and gets softer each time you use him. Moves off your legs. Good stop& steps back easy. Pictures include what he looks like fat& shiny and also what he looks like right now in his work clothes. I have Video of him with approx 5 rides on him. (Not planning to get any more videos, if you’re interested we’d be happy to show him to you :) Yankee rides like a 5yr old that has 30 rides on him. He’s very feely and can come up fresh. He is easy to gather back up& then he goes right back to work no problem. All of this is normal for a young horse with not many rides, and he will only get better with time.
