Description:
Ranch Hand seeking IMMEDIATE Long Term Full Time Position on Cow/Calf and or Yearling Operation in Wyoming. Willing to relocate to other states if it is the right fit for us.



I am a married man looking for a long term ranch hand position. I grew up working on my grandfather’s ranch in Texas, before joining the United States Navy.



After separating from the Navy I gained experience with haying, driving heavy equipment, as well as some irrigation. I am mechanically inclined but I believe techniques and skills can always be learned and improved. My passion is cattle, I believe in low stress cattle management when optional. I enjoy doing things horseback but realize there is a time and place for riding. I have experience doing moves on ATV’s.



Our ideal outfit would be one where my wife can sometimes accompany me as she is wanting to learn more about the lifestyle. She can also bottle feed calves and comes from a Veterinary background with small animals.



We are looking for a place for the long term, where we can learn more of the lifestyle to eventually own and run our own cattle.





Our Requirements:



Our dogs are very important to us (especially my wife) so we need a place that is okay with our dogs being inside, outside. They are housebroken and good dogs.



Housing needed - a fenced in yard would be a bonus.





Ranch vehicle needed in the meantime.
