Black Onyx Beau is a 6yr old, AQHA, 15.1hh, jet black rope horse. You can rope either ends on Beau and he is suitable for all levels of ropers. This gelding is gentle, has a big personality, and wants to please. Perfect horse to add to your string to haul to the summer rodeos and season, or just use him as a practice horse at home to further your skill.

If you’re in the market for a rope horse that’ll fit a wide range of riders, Beau is your man. He has enough speed, power, and potential for a seasoned roper to go be successful on but can be easily controlled to where a lower number roper can enjoy him as well to further their ability. Beau leaves flat from the box, scores like a rock, and does not get hot even if multiple pens are roped off of him. He has been used in the feedlots up north as well as outside to take care of cattle. He’s an excellent ranch horse if you’re not looking for a rope horse and has all the potential and mind to still take in any direction you please.

Beau has a rocking horse lope and is easy to get along with. He’ll meet you in the pasture and has a big personality that’s easily likable. He is great for saddling, bridling, grooming, the farrier, trailering, etc. Beau is just now starting to really fill out and is going to be a very nice-looking gelding when fully finished. He is sound and sane in every way with no maintenance needed.
