Description:
Wylie is a 14.2hh. 7 year old, grade Morgan horse. He’s been all over in the mountains, leading a string of mules, crossing rivers, bridges and logs. Don’t let his height fool you, he is tough as nails and very stocky. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with him in the arena getting our horsemanship maneuvers refined. He carries a soft feel beautifully and has a good leg yeild, haunches in, stop, backup and cow turn. We’ve used him to gather cows all over the Alvord desert and he stands tied quietly all day long. Wylie does NOT pull back. He lopes out slow and smooth, you can swing a rope on him and track up on a cow. Ride him by himself all day long or take him in the mountains and he will go all day long. Wylie loads easily in a trailer and is easy to bathe, saddle and bridle. He has excellent ground manners and is very easy to lead. I honestly don’t have enough good to say about this horse, he learns so quickly and has become one of my favorites to ride.
