Maggie has been used quite a bit on the ranch, been on big gathers, sorted off bulls, and prowled a bunch. She’s not as far along as most three year olds but has the mind to learn anything you put in front of her. I haven’t roped off of her yet but have swung a rope off of her. I’m not great at making a finished horse but I am really good at making a gentle horse. Maggie is super friendly on the ground, easy to catch, and I don’t warm her up in the pasture, just get on and go, but like all 3 year olds may need a little warming up if you leave her sit for a month. She has a lot of natural ability and is really starting to watch a cow, doesn’t require many cues in the pasture tracking a cow, she will match them turn for turn. Just loping along you will have to pedal her a bit, but on a cow she moves out just fine. Has a nice smooth slow lope. Maggie has a scar on the left front foot from an accident as a yearling and a scar on the right rear leg from getting a leg under a trailer...which was my fault. You can beat me up on price a little bit because of these scars but they will not affect her performance.
