Description:
2 year-old Angus bull (commercial only because he is not registered) available for sale this fall. He is out of a non-registered Angus cow from our herd (with great longevity and milking) and by calving-ease sire (CED 13) SydGen Mandate 6079 (EPD’s available here https://origenbeef.org/semen_detail.php?bull=117).

Mandates are extremely good calving ease, we have never pulled any Mandate calves and have bred to Mandate for many years.

He has very good docility (you can feed him cake out of your hand). He has stayed extremely sound, not a single problem with him and has great libido.

He is out breeding some of our cows on grass right now. He will be available after Labor Day (9/6). Our consulting vets have performed his bull soundness exam (to include trich test) prior to this breeding season. "Kansas" was PAP tested as a yearling by Dr. Tim Holt and he tested low, so could be candidate for high country.



Photos are of "Kansas" out on grass this summer with the cows and a photo of his sire "Mandate."
