Description:
The one you’ve all been looking for! Meet Pickle. She’s a 8 year old beautiful black and white Draft Cross mare. She stands at 15.3 wears a size 3 shoe and is 1500 pounds! She is stout made, feather footed and put together well. She is one of the coolest horses I’ve ever been around. She is very broke, neck reins, rides around so gentle and has a great stop! She is very comfortable and smooth to ride all day. We’ve used her to gather, ride all over rough country, hauled her to New Mexico to hunt, branded on her and drug calves to the fire. She crosses water, you can carry a flag, and shes been shot off of. I don’t believe in a “bombproof” horse but she is literally safe for anyone in the whole family. Our kids can ride her alone or you can let grandma & grandpa ride her. She is as gentle and safe as they come!!



Pickle also drives. She is very confident single or double. We use her at Highland Park every winter in Dallas for the Christmas lights rides. During the off season she is used for weddings, funerals and parties. She is great in traffic, around people and all the commotion. She stays calm in all situations. She is easy to hitch up and anyone can drive her! She’s pulled farm equipment and hay as well.



If your looking for one who can sit for months go catch her out of pasture and step on this is the one for you! She is the easiest keeper, very easy to get along with and one for the whole entire family to enjoy! I can’t say enough good things about her, you have to meet her to appreciate her.
