••2012 AQHA 15.2hh gelding••



Roman Nose San "Kip" is a finished ranch and head horse. He has been used outside pretty much his whole life as well as in the sale barns. Outside he is brave and doesn’t back down from a job whether it is as simple as making a circle to check on things or needing to rope and tie something down. You can take off on a loose rein at a working trot or pick up a nice little lope and he will never go faster than asked. On the head side, he fits a wide range of ropers from beginners to high numbers wanting to be competitive. Kip is quiet in the box, leaves flat, and pulls by the horn. He will ease out of the box or leave in a hurry if asked. Kip stays sane whether you rope one or twenty off of him making him a good candidate for a practice horse as well. He is the same horse all the time with time off, or in any weather. You can rope a fresh pen of steers and then hold a baby on him while others are still riding around you without a worry in the world he would do anything. This gelding is solid, friendly, and reliable. Kip is smooth to ride, picks up both leads, has a nice turn around, great brakes, and can be ridden in whatever you want to put on him including just a halter. He is a great mount to own whether you’re just wanting a gentle gelding to enjoy riding, a reliable mount to help you on the ranch, or something to go win money on in the roping pen.
