Description:
Good looking red roan in the summer and pretty chestnut in the winter. 8 year old grade gelding.15.2-15.3 hands tall. This is a stout go all day without wearing him out horse. He has been ridden in rough hills and trees. Used this spring tagging calves and dragging calves at brandings. Been used checking and moving cattle. He will really watch a cow and seems to enjoy that the most. He has been ridden in the arena some and very lightly shown the barrel pattern. He’s got a lot of speed and power and I think would make a great heading horse if someone had the time to teach him. He’s got 4 good solid black feet and is sound ready to go to work. He is best suited to at least an intermediate rider. Not a spooky horse at all. Has never bucked with me or with the guy using him this spring. No rear. I like this horse a lot and I think he has so much potential but I do not have time to keep up with him and my barrel horse because I travel a lot for work. He does best with a regular job and I can’t give him that right now.
