Description:
Shaggy is a beautiful golden palomino gelding with a long white mane and tail that commands attention wherever he’s at. He’s super sweet with a great personality. Shaggy is very broke and a blast to ride. He’s very gentle but is not a dead head. He’s suitable for a lot of different riders but probably not the best choice for a small child because he does move out for you. As far as being around little kids he absolutely loves them and you can pony them on him and he’s perfectly happy with that. They can stand on him and jump off his back and he never bats an eye. He’s one that you don’t have to ride everyday to keep him honest. His previous owner was a 14 yr old girl. She took lessons on him and they took him to fun ride days/playdays for her to ride with her friends. He’s a great horse to gather and check your cattle on. You can ride fences on him or scout for strays. He has never been roped on to our knowledge but is good in all other aspects of being on the ranch. You can pony colts on him. He’s a great trail horse and will go where you want him to - over logs and bridges, through water, up hills and even down the road. If you’re looking for a horse that has the wow factor looks, is sweet, rides super nice and is priced right then here is Shaggy waiting to be your new riding companion. He stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls.
