Description:
Black Onyx Beau is a 6yr old, AQHA, 15.1hh, jet black rope horse. If you’re in the market for a rope horse that’ll fit a wide range of riders, Beau is your man. Beau is the perfect horse to add to your string to haul to the summer rodeos, pick up a few checks at the weekend jackpots, or use him as a practice horse at home to further your skill.

From the head side to the heel side, he has enough speed and power for a seasoned roper to go be successful on but can be easily controlled to where a lower number roper can enjoy him as well to further their ability. Beau leaves flat from the box, scores like a rock, and does not get hot even if multiple pens are roped off of him. Although Beau has not had a kid rope off of him before, we do believe he would suit a kid just fine as long as his speed/power coming out of the box wouldn’t phase them. He knows his job but he is a very gentle and level headed gelding.

Beau has a rocking horse lope and is easy to get along with. He’ll meet you in the pasture and has a big personality that’s easily likable. He has never come up sick and has always been 100% sound and sane.



Beau is consigned to the Southwest Horse Sale on May 29th in Bush, LA. Online and phone bidding are available.
