Hard to find nowadays - a pretty, built, perfectly aged GELDING. That is right I have exactly what everyone is looking for. Something that is gentle, easy to ride, flashy all while being budget friendly then Levi is your guy!

This fabulous gelding has logged the hours, he knows what a hard days work is and that is what makes him a good one. He has done all aspects of ranch work, Levi will not back down and is the definition of wanting to please. He is the typical everyday using horse and done the jobs of checking fence, moving and sorting through them, works gates etc. As well as the seasonal work, he’s been used in the branding pen and has drug calves to the fire and been used to load trucks. He’s nice and stout to the horn and works with you to stay out of a bind.

With that said this gelding absolutely solid outside! Levi can handle any terrain. He has been rode on miles and miles of the mountainside and countryside. This gelding is a total blast to ride, he makes trails so much fun! I don’t say that too often, but the first time I ever rode this gelding was on a 7 mile trail through the rocks, hills and swimming in some deep deep water and I told a good friend of mine afterwards "this is one of the best horses I have ever rode out on a trail". When I say he is mindful of where his feet are so you feel safe and secure and know he won’t spook, bog, or hesitate I mean it and say it confidently. He will make anyone who wants to see what our beautiful country has to offer and wants to explore it, enjoy every minute of it. Levi does not care if you are alone or with a group. He rides perfectly fine alone, he won’t be looking for friends and won’t be calling out the whole time.

Levi is very user friendly. There is all the ease one could want when it comes to power steering. He stays in between the reins, has a perfect neck rein, easy stop, just an all-round point and shoot kind of guy. Picks up on leg queues to easily side pass, and tucks his head to back up. What I love most about Levi is he isn’t in a hurry. He takes his time but when asked will go but always when asked like a true gentleman. He is pretty forgiving if someone happens to make a mistake but also broke enough that if you are asking and mean it, he’ll easily pick up on the memo.

That’s not all, this gelding is also been roped on. He will need a tune up if this is where you want to take him because all he has known in trail riding and ranch work the last 6 years but it won’t take much. He walked right in and backed in the heel box like it was second nature. I even had a friend open and close the chute several times and he stood quiet and on a loose rein the whole time. Not once did he act like he was going to get hot or antsy, he walked in, backed up, and waited for me. (unfortunately I do not have steers, or I would not hesitate to try him out myself).

Levi is an exceptional horse if you want to hit any and all trails, use him in some ranch sorting’s or ranch versatility classes, tune him up to make a jam up rope horse or simply keep him in his roots and use him on the ranch. This gelding is sure to please most anyone with most any job and he makes sure of it. Levi has no buck to him, doesn’t get fresh, will not buddy up on you, could care less if you are headed back to the barn, trailer or gate ( not barn sour).He is great for the farrier. Loads up and hauls very easy, and backs out to unload. This is the ideal thought when it comes to an easy-going, solid horse and will make anyone a great mount.

Levi is up to date on all vaccinations, wormings, feet and is sell as sound.
