Description:
If you are looking for a gentle, quiet horse that is safe for the entire family, then take a look at Cloudy. She is a cute golden palomino mare with a white mane and tail and some dapples. She is 16 years old (GRADE) and 15.2 hh, very stocky with big feet and plenty of bone. Sugar has done a little bit of everything and enjoys it all. She has been used on the ranch to push cattle, has been ridden in 4H, and has been used for English and western riding lesson. Cloudy is great out on trails, is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, and isn’t spooky. When we bought her she had been turned out for 3 years, and we saddled and just hopped on her without any trouble. She is the type of horse you can throw out on your ranch and pull up a few times a year for visitors to ride, and know she will take good care of them. Cloudy is the same horse every time you ride her, very friendly and personable, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. When you walk into her pen she will come up and stick her head in the halter and beg for attention. Cloudy has a good handle, great stop, and will work a gate. She definitely prefers to walk and trot but will step up into a lope if pushed. Cloudy can be ridden out by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $5500. She has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to load, haul and shoe.
