Description:
The cows are in good flesh and have a nice big frame for a lot of salvage value this fall. Approximately 80 head are in very good flesh and could very easily make another breeding season, about 40 head are in good shape but will have a lower BCS than the top 80.



Cows were turned out with Simmental Bulls & 1 Charolais Bull and have been calving consistently since March 25th. These 120 head will have nice strong calves on them and will all be at least 2 weeks old and tagged to match before they ship. There are about 150 head total but these will be the better cut of the cows with the oldest, strongest calves.



Cattle are predominantly Angus with Black calves, some will be Black Nose CharX Calves. There are about 10% Charolais cows with Char and Black Calves.



The ranch bought about 250 cows in the Spring last year. At the end of the summer the cows were sorted in half, with this being the better half, and poorer cows sold before the winter.
