Description:
Adams Livestock LLC is now hiring for a full time Cowboy/Ranch Hand position.

We run a large contract of commercial cattle.



Requirements are Cowboying and Ranch Hand experience.

Duties include but are not limited to fixing fence, some equipment and tractor work, doctoring and looking over 2000 head of yearling steers.

You must be able to rope and ride, work alone unsupervised, follow directions and be capable of working in a team environment. You must be a motivated self starter.



Perks of position:

You are allotted four head of personal horses, that we feed.

Drive a company truck and trailer.

A brand new two bedroom bunkhouse with full amenities.

Company cell phone.

Pay depends on experience, you are paid every two weeks.

Access to medical insurance.

Working dogs are encouraged considering we run over 100,000 acres.



This position is mostly outside riding and doctoring in the desert. Some of the time unfortunately you may have to work 7 days a week. Some days we work before the sun rises and after the sun sets. Starting out this will be a seasonal position but if proven work ethic could turn into a full-time position and added on to the ranch team. There’s room to improve, access to a roping arena to practice and fresh cattle. Going to ropings, cuttings and cow horse shows are a possibility.

You will need to have a valid driver’s license and provide a printout of your driving record.

You will be subject to random drug and alcohol tests.

There’s absolutely zero tolerance for drinking on the job and or in any company vehicle.

You will need to provide at least three references, that we will call and check with.
