Hello! My name is Carlee. I am 24 years old, I have a lot of different experience in the equine/ranch industry and I’m looking for that perfect fit!



I worked three years as a vet tech at two major equine hospitals, I did any type of doctoring, giving meds, bandaging, lameness exams, reproduction and assisting in equine surgeries. For two and a half years I worked for a world renowned performance horse facility in Bozeman Montana. There I was the main groom, assistant to the trainer, assistant to the performance horse sale, helped put on rodeos and equine events, stock contracting (haling timed event cattle to different rodeos, wrapping horns, sorting pens for the rodeo, running the chutes) cleaned stalls and pens, assisted with haying, etc. I spent 1 year working for a reining trainer in the Boise starting colts, and a half a year with a reined cow horse trainer helping start colts, saddling, assisting at shows and loping horses. For the past 2.5 years I have been working for a large ranch in Northern Nevada, there I cowboy, calve heifers, fix fence, irrigate and do any other chores needed around the ranch. All in all I have great experience in many areas; riding colts, stallion care and handling, saddling, grooming, show/sale preparation, driving any sort of farming implements/tractors/heavy equipment/skid steers, basic mechanics (changing oil, starters, alternators...), basic welding, irrigating, fixing fence, hauling livestock, sorting, gathering and trailing horses and cattle, running equine events (timed events/livestock sales), doctoring and branding.



My ultimate goal for the future is to be a well rounded horseman and cattleman. I am confident in my riding, but I would really like to improve upon all areas of my colt starting and horsemanship. I can rope, but I am still a beginner, I am willing to practice and put in the hours, but still need pointers. I am a very strong, dedicated and hardworking individual and I work well alone or with a team. Thank you for your time.
