Description:
Due to some underhanded dealings with summer grazing leases, we are put in a position to sell most of our Corriente herd. There will be 55 to 60 cows available. 30 of these cows were purchased in November and are bred to Angus and Charolais, vet verified to calve between mid March and May. The remainder are cows we have ran for a year or longer and are bred to Red Angus bulls (Pharo and Loosli) for April 1 to mid May. 75% of these cows are 7 or younger, all cows are full mouth. 10 cows have horns longer than their ear, but may have been tipped. 8 paint or spotted cows. All were vaccinated with Ultrabac 8 and Virasheild VL5 this Fall along with MultiMin. There are a few odd cows, but the majority are high quality, deep bodied, easy fleshing, and superb mothers that weaned 400# avg calves this Fall at 185 avg days of age. The part we had this year raised phenomenal calves in a bad drought on sagebrush and crested wheat. Half are broke to electric fence, but they all will come to a call. Curently, all are wintering on dormant feed and 20% protein block. Would make a deal if they go in a big load. Call or text, willing to accept reasonable offers.
