Description:
These are an antique set of heavy leather saddle bags. They have a Basket Weave pattern on them, with the initials of LC carved on one flap. I have been told by the basket weave pattern they were made in the 1940’s or 1950’s. The bags measure 8 inches wide and 8 inch tall. They each have a leather gusset in them. Over all they measure 31 inches in length. The both have a tie down strap with a buckle. Leather is still in good condition, and stitching is still solid Note : There is a small worn spot on the back of one pocket ( as shown ). A very nice heavy duty set of saddle bags for displaying on an antique saddle or for personal use !
