If you are looking for a horse that can do it all, from packing a kid around, to working on the ranch, to showing in multiple disciplines, then take a look at CJ. He is extremely fancy and fun to ride and a very pretty mover. CJ is 15 hh and extremely well built, with a huge hip, beautiful head and neck and a soft eye. He is a finished reiner, has been heeled off of, roped cattle out in the pasture, been shown in the NRHA and SHOT, has given lessons to kids and beginner riders, and has been ridden extensively on trails. CJ is an NRHA money earner scoring 72s and 73s with a non pro. He is extremely well bred, an own son of Topsail Whiz (all time leading reining sire, and the first sire to crack the $12 million benchmark), and out of Glo N Sparkle (own daughter of Shining Spark and earnerof $80k and 3000 AQHA points). CJ is 10 years old and AQHA registered as “Whizen Shine”, #5289936. My 5 year old son rides him, and for the last 6 months has been teaching a 10 year old girl the basics of riding a reiner. I am only selling him because I am moving into showing in the NRCHA and need a horse who has experience with that. CJ is gentle and stays that way, even if not ridden regularly, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. He absolutely loves attention and will chase you down is the pasture looking to be loved on. CJ has all the buttons you could ever want on a horse, but he is pretty uncomplicated and even less experienced riders can get along with him. He has a huge stop and one handed neck rein, a very good spin and rollback, perfect lead changes, and never misses a lead. CJ will sidepass, work off your leg, rides collected or on a loose rein, and will work a gate. He is really good on a cow and excels in the sorting pen. Cj is laid back but very responsive to his riders cues, and can step right into a lope from a stop, walk or trot. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and will go, over or through anything you point him at. Cj can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
