2009 AQHA Gelding

Ranch & rope horse. Gentle, broke, and in the bridle.



We cannot say enough good things about this absolutely well mannered, well broke, and outstanding all around gelding. Reno had two years of cutting training as a colt when he was started and has been in good hands his entire life. He is extremely broke. He has been used extensively outside on the ranch and is great to rope on in the pen. He stands 15.1 hands tall, has ideal conformation with great bone, and is clean legged.



We have used Reno outside for all aspects of ranch work from penning and sorting cattle to doctoring and catching one to load into the trailer. He will do any job asked of him and always goes to work with a willing attitude. He has a lot of cow and will go into the herd or sit in a gate. He is correct and showy about the way he works and is always honest. He stays good minded no matter what the task at hand is.



Reno is just as handy in the roping pen as he is in the pasture. He is primarily a head horse, but can be heeled on as well. He gives you the same trip every time. We have roped on him from the #9’s to the #12’s. He is currently being hauled and will continue to be until sold.



Reno has impeccable manners. He is kind, quiet, and laid back with an incredibly sweet personality. He is very gentle and always a pleasure to ride and be around. He has been 5 panel tested N/N and DNA tested. This is a quality gelding with a lot to offer.
