If you are looking for a gentle, quiet well broke ranch gelding that the entire family can enjoy, then take a look at Jingles. He is a nice looking 15 year old bay gelding, 15.2 hh and close to 1250 pounds, with four black feet, a ton of bone, and a pretty head with a kind eye. H sells as GRADE. He has been on the same ranch for the majority of his life, ridden by the foreman, until he turned 75 and could no longer mount a horse this tall. Jingles has been used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. Jingles is broke the way one should be, with an excellent neck rein, a soft mouth and a sliding stop. He has the smoothest trot and rocking horse lope that you could ride all day long without getting sore. He would be the perfect horse for a weekend rancher wanting to heck his cows or ride fence, or to keep on the ranch for guests to have a safe horse to ride on. We have had beginner riders ride him all over the ranch and he takes very good care of them. Jingles has excellent ground manners and loves attention, and will come up to you in the pasture to be caught. He is laid back but responsive, content to walk quietly all day long but will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Jingles has put in his time as a full time ranch hrose and is looking for a family who will spoil him and take care of him in his retirement years. He is sound but will not hold up to the pressure of all day, everyday ranch work, but loves to be ridden and is very willing to do anything you ask of him. Jingles can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and has been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $4500.
