I am advertising this Louisiana Catahoula Puppy (Lavender Bleu) individually, because she is an extremely energetic and high drive Catahoula. This dog needs a job - She needs an owner who has experience with the breed, and who is willing to put the time and effort into her training and socialization. I am requiring that she go to a working home and/or SUPER active household. She will be 9 weeks old on 11/22. She has been de-wormed and vaccinated in a responsible manner. Lavender is very sweet, but will require the right placement and environment.

My female Catahoula had a litter of 8 puppies, born on the 20th of September.

Both sire and dam were born in Abita Springs, Louisiana and came from renowned Catahoula expert and breeder, Don Abney. They are registered with the UKC and NALC. Bloodlines go back to Champions on both sides. We provide proof of ancestry. (Parents are onsite).

I am not a "dog breeder", this is my 2nd litter ever and also part of a continuing FFA/High School project for me. I am super passionate about this breed and their preservation. I believe in breeding functional, efficient dogs, that meet the breed standard and are of the best quality in terms of genetics and health. We use our dogs for hunting, and as work animals on the farm (but they are also pets, and part of the family).

We take the time to work with the pups; socializing them and exposing them to different sounds, people, and animals early on...
