Talk about FANCY! Shiner is just that SHINEY. He has gorgeous conformation, thick made, baby doll head, soft kind eye, big round hip topped off by that beautiful palomino color. Shiner stands out in any crowd and he’s the first one that catches everyones eye. Not only is he shiney to look at look at, he is HANDY broke too. He has a reining foundation and then we have put him to work on the ranch. Excellent one handed neck rein, lopes out of his tracks soft and level headed. He will lope pretty circle and stops nicely on the hind end. He is soft in the bridle, moves off of your legs. Opens and closes gates with ease when working in the alleys. We have used him all over the ranch, done every aspect of ranch work, drug calves to the fire this spring, used him checking herd this summer and riding in rough and rocky terrain, this fall we have taken him up in the mountains hunting and used him for a pack horse. He stays broke with time off, easy to catch even out on pasture. He has good ground manners, easy to shoe. Loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well.
