Description:
Shiner is a 9yr old,15.2 hand,1300 lb dark buckskin ranch gelding. This is a very sharp looking, shapey gelding that is put together right. Huge deep hip, broad chest, tons of bone and foot (wears a #2 shoe). Very well bred by a Pitzer Ranch stud out of a good daughter of Shining Spark. We bought Shiner from a friend that owned him since he was a yearling, been in good hands and treated right all his life. He is very gentle and stays gentle, athletic with plenty of motor to work all day without pedaling. Shiner has been roped on outside and in the arena, will really run and rate and handles cattle smoothly. He is very broke, quick footed and will ride around feeling like a much smaller horse. He has a lot of cow sense and sure good to sort on and a blast to rope on. He will not be outrun and can handle anything you catch with ease and you’ll be looking like Matt Dillon while he’s doin it!
