Description:
IMMEDIATE opening for a full-time apprentice/assistant. Family operation owned by well known horseman and clinician. We are located in western Utah, just 30 minutes west of Salt Lake City. We are looking for someone who potentially wants to make a career here. We train and show a lot of horses, raise and run a large, high quality registered Quarter Horse herd, as well as a commercial cow /calf operation.



We are looking for someone that is passionate and willing to help and learn our successful training program. Duties include (but are not limited to) catching, grooming, saddling, and riding horses. Some cowboy work as needed, so you must be able to drive a manual transmission truck.



MUST be honest, trustworthy, hardworking, positive attitude, must be able to work well alone or with others. Owner travels often doing clinics, so we need someone who is a self starter and is able to get the job done . If you won’t/can’t ride young and green horses please DO NOT apply.



We WILL do a background check. No Drugs, No Smoking or Alcohol Use.

Wage DOE and abilities.

We have a large, 2/3 bed room apartment, suitable for a small family. It is located inside of our indoor riding. Utilities paid. We are located in a smaller community but still close to very good schools and town. We also offer the possibility of running some of your own cattle or horses.
