Description:
We are 72 Ranch West.

We raise, sell, train and show cutting horses.

We live on a beautiful 285 acre ranch in Parker County Texas.



We are currently in search of someone who can be diverse around the ranch. The more boxes you tick, the better qualified you are for the position. If you feel confident about at least half of the requirements, give us a call!



Housing is provided if needed. Please be expected to work at least 6 days a week. We rotate Sundays to accommodate all employees. We prefer no horses or pets but we understand most people love their dogs... we are dog people too!



Qualifications;

good attitude

hard worker

quick learner

horse savvy

organized

clean cut

teachable (or re-teachable if necessary)

punctual

knowledge of cattle

knowledge of cutting

knowledge of broodmares/foaling

knowledge of tractors/equipment

willing to travel

able to halter break

able to start colts





Your duties would differ pending on your qualifications and capabilities but you can expect;

horse feeding

horse saddling

horse loping

horse bathing

barn cleaning

checking broodmares

foaling broodmares

checking cattle

doctoring horses/cattle

feeding cattle

watering arena

dragging arena

cleaning tack

washing splint boots

washing water buckets

halter breaking babies

sale fitting yearlings

traveling to shows

traveling to sales
