Meet Lizzy! She is a stunningly beautiful buckskin roan mare. She has good conformation and a gorgeous baby doll head. First and foremost this mare will only be sold to the very best home. We’ve had her 2-1/2 years and we all dearly love her and it will be a sad day when she leaves so we will be selective. She is at the prime age for you to take and make her the horse of your dreams. She is really broke and super athletic so the sky is the limit with her. She was started by a 15-year-old boy and he rode her all over the mountain, up and down the road, through the river and anywhere else he could think of to ride her. Since we’ve had her we’ve worked on putting a really good handle on her. She’s soft and supple and you can move her shoulders, ribs or hips easily. She carries her head nice, neck reins, side passes, picks up her leads, stops good and backs up easily. She’s the kind of horse you don’t have to worry about if you can’t ride everyday because she stays the same with time off. She doesn’t ride like a young horse and is an old soul. She rides out confidently and isn’t spooky or silly. We’ve taken her to Dinosaur Valley Park to trail ride and she is awesome. We’ve also ridden her down the road. We’ve used her to gather, move and pen cattle on the ranch. We’ve been tracking and roping the Smarty on her. We’ve tracked and roped live steers on her as well. She would make a jam up rope horse. Or even a barrel horse with her athleticism if that’s your choice. She’s lightly started on the pattern at the trot and slow lope. It doesn’t matter what you use her for you’ll look good doing it. She has all charisma and class you could ask for. These nice young registered horses that are broke are getting harder to find every day and you will drive the wheels off your truck looking for one any prettier than Lizzy. Don’t miss out on her. She will stand for the farrier, tie, bathe, load and haul.
