He is close to 1350 pounds and 15.2hh, with a big hip, wide chest, a ton of bone and a big foot. Keno is 14 years old, black and AQHA registered as “Doc O Zans Cash” #4909152. Check out his complete pedigree at: https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/doc+o+zans+cash Keno has been on one ranch in West Texas for most of his life, where he was used for all phases of ranch work including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. We have ponied colts off of him and they can literally climb all over him and it won’t bother him. Keno is stout, tough, and could pull a house down if you asked him to. He is cowy, strong to the horn and good on the end of a rope, never getting excited or upset when working cattle. He is quiet and gentle, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick, or take off. Keno rides on a loose rein, but has a big stride and plenty of gas when asked so he is best suited to an intermediate or better rider. Keno is well broke, with an excellent one handed neck rein, a good stop, and he will sidepass, work off your leg and open and shut gates. He is an excellent ranch horse but has the athletic ability to make an outstanding head or heel horse, and the mind and disposition to make a nice safe trail horse as well. Keno would be great for the cowboys to use during the week and then trust him to keep the bossman safe on the weekends. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Keno can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. He has had a pre purchase exam July 28 and passed with no issues so he sells as sound. Asking $6500.
