Cedar is the Ultimate Kids Working Ranch Pony.

Flashy sorrel and white pinto pony, 11 hands tall, 8 yo gelding.

This pony has worked (as if he were a big horse) on our cow-calf operation for the last year. My son uses him to rope and tag calves in the pasture and in the pens. He can hold a calf nearly as big as he is and is strong on the horn. When we check cows, I trust this pony to take my son all by themselves in the opposite direction around the loop in our 300 acre pasture. He is not herd sour, doesn’t spook, and long trots as fast or faster than our full sized ranch horses. My son has trained him in the arena too and he is patterned on the barrel pattern and other playday events. He is good in the roping box for slow break-away calves and heeling the dummy. He has also packed around little kiddos with no experience. We are only selling him because my son is getting too tall for him, but this pony is worth his weight in gold.
