Description: 11,000 acre working, family owned ranch in North Texas is seeking an experienced ranch foreman. This job requires a knowledgeable and focused individual who can manage and maintain all aspects of the ranch, hands on, with integrity and high standards. Owners live on the property and will be present to guide management of ranch on a daily bases.



Salary/Benefits: Full time, salaried position with competitive compensation based on experience/knowledge.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



•Responsible for leading, implementing and supporting ranch values, stewardship and best prac-tices

•Hands on supervision and oversight of all projects/contractors/ranch hands, etc. and other activities on the property

•Hands on management and oversight of Hay Operation

•All aspects of pasture management

•Help oversee all ranch operations/leases; hay, cattle, farming, mining, reclamation, hunters, etc.

•Ranch security enforcement; oversight of ranch perimeter, cameras, work with game warden, etc.

•Special projects involvement/management from conception to completion

•Work closely with ranch owner in defining, evaluating progress towards and achieving, short and long term goals

*Maintaining ranch equipment as needed

•General mechanic work

•Fence work as needed

•Ranch road maintenance

*Wild hog population control by trapping, transporting and sales

•Wildlife management practices with state biologist for: qualifying, monitoring, recording, har-vesting, and trapping as needed of turkey and deer population



Qualifications:



•Some college in ranch management or related fields but is not required

•Ranching background/experience preferred

•Ranch equipment operation and maintenance

•Self-motivated and willingness to do what it takes to get all jobs completed correctly

•Can lead and work well with others

•Computer/smart phone literate

•Open minded and willing to learn and facilitate change as needed
