Description:
Scout is a gorgeous 11 hand paint pony that looks like a big horse. This is one of those ponies you drive the wheels off your truck to find. He’s safe and sane for the kiddos to ride and use. He’s big enough even a small adult could ride him to keep him tuned up. He direct reins, neck reins, breaks at the pole, carries his head well and has a good stop. He was raised on a big west Texas ranch and has been ridden miles and miles by the kids going along with dad on daily duties such as gathering and prowling pastures. He’s sure foot and used to going through cedar breaks and rocky terrain, up and down hills and picking his way through cactus. He’s also been ridden by the kids to go with granddad to check fence lines. You can throw him in the trailer with the dogs and go.

He’ll trail ride anywhere you want to take him. The guy that used to work for us would ride him 7 miles around our town. He went across overpasses, into town, to the convenience store, to the flea market and down the busy highway. He’s been hauled to Wyoming and Colorado to ride in the mountains. He’s also been to the Palo Duro Canyon.

He’s been hauled to team ropings and rodeos for the kids to ride while dad roped. They rode him in grand entries at the rodeos. He’s always good in new places. They also took him to the fun days at their church and let kids ride him that don’t have a horse of their own. He’s been ridden in parades and is traffic safe.

Another cool think about this guy is he drives and pulls a cart or buggy. He’s been used for parades and trail rides. He has even pulled a small feed wagon on the ranch.

Scout is always easy to catch. The kids can groom, saddle and get on him alone. He’ll stand for hours to be brushed and messed with. The kids paint and decorate him, braid his hair and glitter his feet.

If you want a pony that’s safe, gentle and cool looking then here he is. He’s ready to go home with your kids.
