Description:
Sold - $18,000 This young and gentle Driftwood bred gelding has been ridden and packed in the mountains, worked on the ranch, been introduced to town and has handled anything we’ve thrown at him like an old pro. He is as Black as the ace of spades and built like one should be with a long thick mane and tail. We rate him as a number three for disposition only because of his young age. He rides sane and calm every time with no issues or nonsense and should work for most level of riders.



We used him last summer in several of our clinics, teenagers and riders at different levels all got along with him great. He was packed and rode all over the famed Thoroughfare region and Shoshone NF last summer/fall season and will handle all the rivers, down timber and dangers on the trail. We will be team sorting and roping the Heel-O-Matic on him this winter.



Drifter would also make a very nice heel or calf roping horse and is well on his way to be an exceptional ranch gelding. He is easy to catch, saddle, bridle, shoe and load. He is an easy keeper, gets along well with others and will work anywhere you put him in a pack string. He is hobble broke and stays around camp good at night and will continue to fill out as he matures. He’s never offered to buck and rides the same every day even with time off and we guarantee him 100% sound.
