He has a smooth way of traveling. He’s been used on a ranch for every task you can imagine including gathering, penning, sorting pairs, roping and doctoring sicks, dragging calves to the fire, scouting for strays, checking windmills, loading trucks and ponying broncs. He’s a nice head and heel horse and has been hauled to jackpots and rodeos. He’s good in the box, leaves flat, runs hard, rates off good, has a nice move across the pen and faces well. On the heel side he falls in the corner and stops when the rope leaves your hand. He has a heart the size of Texas and won’t ever quit you. He will do anything you want him to.  He’s not a horse you have to ride every day. He stays broke. He stands tied quietly and tacks up easily with no cinchiness or problems. He’s also a fantastic trail horse. He’ll ride out alone just as easily as he will in a group. He’s been hauled and ridden in the mountains. He’s been ridden at Dinosaur Valley Park. He rides down the road and isn’t spooky of traffic. He’s also been ridden around motorcycles, bikes, joggers, ATV’s, tractors, bulldozers, backhoes, dogs and donkeys and isn’t phased by any of it.  He has a cool personality and will try to please you every day. He is truly a horse you don’t want to miss if you’re looking for a ranch horse that you can haul and team rope off of also. Chico has absolutely no bad habits or vices.
