Description:
Cowboy is a 15.2 hand, 1300#, Red Roan, ranch gelding. Like all the geldings that we offer for sale, he is in our string of horses that we use on our ranch in central NM. We don’t have a separate string of horses that aren’t for sale and this is another one of those nice geldings you’ll be proud to own! He is a big, stout, strong, well made, gentle gelding with a big kind eye and huge hip, that feels and rides like a little horse. He is a very smooth traveler and great outside. He’s done everything on the ranch and is good at all of it. He can rope and handle anything you latch on to and can drag a big cow or bull in the trailer. He’s fast, athletic, and could make a head horse quick. Very cowy, will watch one, and will sure help you in the sorting pen. Cowboy is a very gentle and kind gelding, will meet you at the gate, ground tie anywhere, and with great manners. I don’t use the name Cowboy lightly, it takes a hell of a horse for me to call him Cowboy, he’s the goods!
