Description:
Pocos Sun Gunner ("Snus") is a flashy 2013 AQHA dun gelding who stands approximately 15.1 hands and 1150 pounds. He is sure to get you noticed with his buttermilk color, black points, and prominent dorsal stripe. He has plenty of chrome as well. We have used him in the feedlot, on the ranch, down the trails, and in the arena. He has been a steady mount with a friendly and willing attitude. He responds to leg cues, has a nice one hand neck rein, and has overall good body control. He picks up both leads and will pickup a lope from a stand still. From roping all classes of cattle and opening thousands of gates, Snus has been involved in all aspects of cattle work. On the trails, he has been exposed to kids, joggers, cyclists, strollers, dogs, and wildlife. He crosses bridges, water, downfall, and rough terrain with ease. In the arena, he has been started both heading and heeling. He is quiet in the box and is scoring and rating well. He stands well for the farrier. He is easy to load and easy to back out of the trailer. He is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and coggins.
