"Giz" is a fantastic 13 hh, 7 year old quarter pony gelding that is super broke, safe, and is a big sweetheart. He has a great personality, LOVES attention, to be groomed and hang out, has good ground manners, and is safe for kids/older person. Gizzy has worked cattle on the ranch, moves right out on trail, is brave and LOVES trail riding. He is not a spooky guy- more interested in checking things out, rides in a group or by himself, has been to the mountains, to the ocean many times, camping a lot, and to the lake. He is an excellent trail pony. In the arena, he picks up leads, has a super smooth canter, great transitions, uses voice commands, has a nice big stop, straight back up, side passes with ease, nice spin, and carries a flag. Gizzy is a well trained pony and is light in his cues. He could easily be a perfect 4H, Schooling Show/Local Show type, English, Trail, Family, or Ranch Pony. He is a true all around little guy. Riders 125 lbs or smaller. Good for beginner kids with a trainer/parent that is experienced up to experienced hand. Would make a perfect "before getting a horse" pony for a small kid. Also, would be a great petite adult rider who wants to ride and in and out of the arena. Would make ideal ranch pony for a kid who wants to team rope also. If you are looking for that "hard to find" quarter pony gelding that can truly do it all- (including laying down on cue), is a 1 owner pony, fully trained and ready to go- look no further than Giz.
