Description:
Seeking Foreman for ranch in Brewster County, TX, situated in the Glass Mountains northeast of Alpine, TX. A beautiful place to live and work, 45 minutes to Alpine/1 hour to Ft. Stockton



Foreman position is responsible for a full scope of ranching duties such as but not limited to: Cattle, wildlife, water system repair and maintenance, upkeep of ranch HQ, etc. Foreman will work directly with area ranch manager who also lives on site.



Ideal candidate will possess the following traits:



Punctual and dependable

Good verbal and written communication

Self-motivated, detail oriented, and a team player.

Ability to work efficiently without supervision but also work well with others

Quality workmanship in all tasks

Skilled in basic ranch maintenance and repairs, welding a plus

Strong attention to organization and visual appearance of ranch

Basic horsemanship and low stress cattle handling skills

Conservation minded

Basic computer skills

Ranch HQ is 11 miles from highway on a county-maintained dirt road. School bus picks up and drops off at highway for transportation to/from the Alpine school district.
