If you have been looking for a gentle, well broke, flashy jenny that the entire family can enjoy, then take a look at Clementine. She is the nicest Jenny I have ever ridden, and was cred, raised and trained by a gentleman in his 70s. He recently became unable to ride so we are helping find Clementine a new home. This grandchildren rode Clementine all over the ranch with him, even the youngest ones she took good care of. She is 8 years old and 14hh, with the sweetest face and biggest ears you will ever see. She is very easy to handle, easy to catch, loves people, is not ear shy, and loads and hauls well. Clementine has never bucked, kicked, bit or done anything nasty, even when she was first being broke. She is extremely gentle and kind, good minded and easy to train. When we got her she had not been ridden in two years, and we hopped on her with no warm up and she rode right off with no problems. She rides bareback with a halter just as well as she rides with a sddle. Clementine has been taught to really travel out in the pasture and will outwalk most horses, and has the smoothest little jog that you could sit to all day long. She will lope if pushed. She is very quiet and has a good handle, moves off your leg, and backs up well. Clementine will carry a flag, open a gate, and we have even roped off of her a handful of times. She can be ridden by herself or in a large group with no problem. She will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. If I had to pick on Clementine she needs a little more work with her feet. She will pick them up for you but it isn’t her favorite thing, but she certainly isn’t mean or dangerous about it.
