Description:
Lenas Dashin Kitty is a 2005 model gray Pitchfork branded mare bred back to our 93% FQHA 16 hand grullo stallion, Captain Handy. He is 5 panel NN. This will be his first foal crop with us. We are very excited, but due to the severe drought we have been in all summer and now looking to go well into the fall and winter we are needing to cut back on our numbers. She was preg checked in foal with a heartbeat in June. She is due with an April 2020 baby. This baby will have a chance to be, sorrel, bay, black that can either gray or carry the dun gene or both on top of those base colors. The foal would be a good candidate to color test just to be sure. Captain Handy aka Jack carries an ample amount of bone, has tremendous solid feet, great disposition, long stride and speed. Since we haven’t had any of his babies yet, we are unsure what this pair will produce, but his babies in the past carry these traits along with making nice ranch, rope and rodeo horses.

Lenas Dashin Kitty is an own daughter of Cat Silver, a NCHA earner of $9,161: semi-finalist in the 2001 NCHA Non-Pro Derby; NCHA Certificate of Ability; 2004 AQHA National Cutting Leader; AQHA ROM, earning 18.5 open cutting points. He is a son of High Brow Cat, earner of $126,252, 2007 Equi-Stat #1 Leading Cutting Sire, siring the earners of over $24,000,000 and a son of Purdy Pistol, by Peppy San Badger (NCHA Hall of Famer), earner of $62,948 and a 2006 Equi-Stat Leading Cutting Producer. Kitty’s bottom side is generation deep in Pitchfork breeding. Her dam’s sire is Pay Forty Four who has sired many proven ranch horses along with, AQHA, RHAA and NBHA money earners. Her bottom side also goes to many great horses such as Dash For Cash, Doc Bar and Hollywood Gold.

Lena was bred to KT Rooster Cogburn for a 2019 baby. He is an own son of Gallo Del Cielo out of Bar J Jackie (3x AQHA World Champion). KT Rooster Cogburn is a 7/8th brother to AQHA Superhorse Popular Resort Figure. She had a filly that is shedding gray 4/15/19. The filly has been weaned since 8/13/19. We would offer a package deal to include the weanling if someone wanted,she is weaned.

Lena has been vaccinated 2/1/19 with EWT, WNV, Rabies, Flu & Rhino. She was dewormed 2/1 and 8/1 with Quest Plus. She had her feet trimmed 8/28/19. She is 14.3 hands. She is halter broke and will stand tied. She has been AI’d and live covered. Stallion got her the 1st heat cycle and not the foal heat, but he didn’t get any of them on foal heat this year. She can be evasive in bigger pastures, but once caught behaves well. She loads and unloads in a trailer.
