Description:
Corona is a big pretty black gelding that is absolutely gentle for anyone to ride. Super laid back, easy going, in your pocket type personality. Wants to be your friend but still respectful of your space. He is easy to catch anywhere and stands quietly for anything you’d like to do. He has NO bad habits, vices or issues. Stays gentle and doesn’t freshen up if not ridden for periods of time. Never cinchy, no buck, no need to round pen or lunge before riding.

Rides quiet in both the arena and outside. Very very light in the bridle, will ride in any type of bit and has a one handed neck rein. Comfortable gaits for a big horse, really nice lope and picks up both leads with ease. Very easy to ride. Stands still at the mounting block. Loads and hauls excellent.

This is a running bred horse that has no desire to go fast, we’ve tried him on the barrels and he is patterned with NO issues, but he’s just too push style and not quick enough. He is very willing and has a great disposition and will go anywhere you point him. Never grumpy or grouchy, just prefers to go slow than fast. He has been ridden by all ages and level riders. He has been ridden by kids who were beginner level riders (with instruction of course) and he was fantastic. Not barn sour, not buddy sour, not gate sour. no issues... just a big gentle gelding that is very enjoyable to be around and ride. Dog gentle on the ground, gets along with other horses well. Not spooky at all, rides alone or in groups. In groups you can lead, ride in the middle or the back and he doesn’t get nervous. The kids have crawled all over him and ridden him double.

Clean legs with big bone and a big great feet. completely sound, trots both directions on hard ground free and equal. Vet checks welcome. He is offered for sale because he just isn’t fast enough to make a barrel horse for his owner. This is a super nice gelding that would make someone a great confidence builder. He’s best suited for someone who wants a tall super gentle gelding that enjoys riding at a leisurely pace.
