Description:
Sally is an absolutely gorgeous loud colored bay paint mare that has all the flash and charisma you could ask for. She was previously owned and ridden by a young man with multiple sclerosis and he has to have horses that are very gentle and she was one of his go to horses for everything. He cowboys for a living and day works on big ranch’s. He has used this little mare to gather, move and pen cattle, roped sick cattle on her, he’s drug calves on her, drug bulls in the trailer on her and prowled pastures. She’s broke really nice and is fun to ride. She neck reins, pivots, picks up her leads, lopes good circles, moves off your leg and has a good stop. She’s been used at ranch rodeos and is good in new places. She’s super gentle but is a little goey and forward moving. She would much rather trot slow walk. She’s been hundreds of miles on the trails and goes willingly wherever you want her to. She’s been ridden on big organized trail rides. She’s been hauled to Colorado and New Mexico and ridden up in the mountains. She would be a great one to be ridden on the ranch by the wife and kids to help with daily ranch duties. She’s been hauled to ropings to flag on. The kids ride her here in the roping pen to push the roping cattle up and down the alley. No matter what you do she’s always willing and has a great attitude. She would make a great drill team horse also. If you’re looking for a good little ranch mare that’s also a super gentle family horse that’s beautiful to look at with a great mind then don’t miss Sally because she’s definitely the one. She doesn’t have any bad habits or vices. She stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls.
